I would like to point out that the 4WD light blinking on the dash means there's a leak in the pneumatic front axle actuator; driving around in 4 wheel drive while the light is blinking will do to your front differential what riding your clutch does to your clutch. Blinking during the first second after shifting into 4 wheel drive is fine as the system pressurizes, but if it remains consistent you have a leak and shouldn't drive in 4 wheel drive at all.
