4K - Rush Hour GO & VIA Rail Trains along the Oakville Subdivision - Exhibition and Mimico Stations

Presented in 4K UHD! Went out on one of my final days in Toronto and rode the train to the Exhibition GO Station near Downtown Toronto for some late afternoon and early evening commuter train action along the GO Lakeshore West Line. Owned by Metrolinx and properly called the "Oakville Subdivision," this stretch of line is the busiest in to GO Transit system. With trains running back and forth at all hours of the day from GO and VIA Rail, it's no wonder!
Exhibition station also offers great views of Downtown in the near distance, with the CN Tower "towering" overhead of the busy 4 mainlines here. Caught the normal action that you would expect during the day, including some wrapped VIA 150 trains.
Also visited the Mimico GO Station later on in the day, to catch some of the late evening action leaving and arriving the GO Willowbrook and VIA Rail Toronto Maintenance Centers. Only stayed here for about 30 minutes, and I caught some awesome action in that short time!

At 1:19 you caught the London bound train. When the light gets better, I'm going to catch that train coming into London and when it is being decoupled into two separate trains and VIA Rail's London station. That was a great shot.

1:19 nice to see two trains directly combined with engines in the middle! 1:34 wow! I'm glad Tronto GO put a full train in the new livery! 3:30 Looks like those two trains are racing each other! 3:41 the only thing keeping that train all in the same livery is the rebuilt cab car! 12:14 WOW! I'm glad Tronto GO is still putting unrebuilt cab cars at the end of their trains! I've seen a few in the middle in this video! 12:44 wow! nice to see an F59Ph still owned by Toronto GO! Especially pulling a train less than 10 cars long! 14:59 my mouth is watering at the sight of all of these matching 1950s coaches!

Nice video Mitcheal! If you want a video of the Canadian on arrival into Toronto it goes on the GO Richmond Hill line which has a level crossing in the middle of the city at Pottery road.

How nice and beautiful 10 to 12 passengers cars with having a room to seated. CalTrain (Between SF and San Jose) is a stupid system limited five cars (some are 6 cars) with so and so packed inside the train. When I hopped in of couldn't find a seat then next station stopped people got off from the seated and other who were standing grap their seats. I was stuck by standing entire the trip with my knee injury from my job. It is really stupid with limited sized of platform to limited 5 cars sized. And it should have more cars such as 8 or 10 or 12 or 16 cars just like Southern Pacific commuter with the comfortable for a paid to seated while doing paper work or read and if standing of couldn't read or paper work while holding one hand and other hold on object durning motions from getting falling. Also in the future will have frequently train in every minutes will not solving an issue just like limited one or two cars frequently SF Muni light rail or bus with so packed of people too. So, when a train supposed to have lots of passengers cars is the better! Right now I go Uber as I feel so comfortable seated while doing the laptop or phone calls for my businesses and no matter if the traffic is tie up as need to get my business work done at daily. After 50 years I stopped going on Caltrain (rode on former Southern Pacific too). Also, when a train break down or delays with the more trains arriving an awful pack on each train for couple hours of waiting to get less and less for me enter because my Health's issues. All my workers are stopped going on Caltrain too and no matter have every minutes train will not solving an issues (limited number of cars huh!)

While they run all day long, try it during evening rush hour, you will not get a seat at all it is standing room only.
