Let's take a walking tour through the alleyways of Ikseon-dong, Jongno-gu on the weekend evening.
The sound of rain is getting stronger, but the atmosphere seems to be a more ripe alley.
When it rains, lovers and friends seem to like it the most.
Every shop you pass by, such as pubs, cafes, extreme flea markets, and restaurants, is crowded with people.
Surprisingly, street food stalls are very popular on Saturday evenings.
It seems that the rainy season front will go up and down continuously for the next two weeks to a month.

Ikseon-dong (益 善 洞) is Beopjeong-dong located in the center of operation No. 1, 2, 3, 4, Jongno, Jongno-gu, Seoul. It is bordered by Unni-dong to the north, Donui-dong to the south, Nakwon-dong to the west, Waryong-dong and Myo-dong to the east. It is famous as a hanok village built in the 1930s.

This is strangely the coziest video I've ever seen. It's a combination of rain, yellow lights, those small streets and small restaurants all close to each other and the fact that it's clearly not cold and a lot of ppl are outside. Ah, I really love it!

어느 비오는 날의 스케치 서민적 이면서 털털한 모습 정말 잘 도 잡았다 우산을 때리며 튀는 것에 굴러 떨어지는 빗방울 소리가 실감이 있고 들려오는 아가씨의 목소리가 졍겨움을 더한다 노루처럼 깡충 고인물 피해가는 처자의 뒷모습도 너무귀엽다 골목길에서 비 내음도 만끽하며 지나치는 사람구경도 하고 한잔의 쏘주 기울이는것 정말 귀한 추억거리가 되겠다 김이 모락모락 코끝 혀끝을 자극하는 먹음직스런 안주의 유혹 눈에 밟혀 그냥 지나칠수가 없구나 그런데 익선동 이라면 화신백화점 하고는 어떻게 되는거지 각박한 세상속에 담소하는 소시민의 만남들 긴긴세월 꼭꼭 숨어있던 서울내기의 진한 향을 이제야 찿았구나 저 선술집 앞에 서성이며 정겨운 분위기 구경하는것 만으로도 취할것 같다 얼마나 보기좋고 듣기좋은 곱창볶음같은 구수함인가 더군다나 우주 제일의 문자인 아름답고 편리한 한글이 탄생하고 쓰이는 심장부가 아닌가 우리말에 저 음식 문화에 소위 말하는 한류에 이끌려 무수한 세상사람들이 오늘도 한국행 비행기에 몸을 실을 것이리 서너시간 목석이 되어도 다리가 안아플것 같아 과학 하고는 또 다른 향수 온고이지신 백년전의 순수함이 우릴 반기고 좁은룸 왁자지껄한 분위기 막역하고 호탕한 저 웃음소리에 체증이 풀리고 NY에 갇힌 나를 해방시킨다 저기 중컬이랑 주거니 받거니 즉석 친구하고 싶어진다( 못 먹는 술이지만 막걸리 한사발 들이키련다 ) 내가 어렸을땐 저런 골목도 참 많았었는데 어느새 내가 노털이 되었어 갑짜기 쓴웃음이라 해야 하나 허 ~ 헛웃음이 나온다 어릴때 인왕산 밑동네에서 뛰놀던 때가 그리워진다 빗소리만 있으면 됐지 무슨 안주가 필요하랴 정이 샘솟는 꿈속의 골목엔 눈요기 이상의 짙은 의미가 담겨있다 쫒기고 밀리다 결국엔 막다른 골목으로 내몰려 찬비 맞는 순서울 토박이의 모습을 보는듯하다 정이 흘러넘치는 이골목에 얼마나 많은 외국인이 유혹을 받을까 그들에게 이런 모습은 신기하게 느껴질듯하다 전혀 다른 맛이기에 자석처럼 끌리며 스폰지 모양 빨이들인다 그래서 였구나 그들이 왜 서울하면 사죽을 못쓰는 이유를 알겠어 쏘주 탁주 맥주를 섞으면 무슨맛이 날까 도망칠수없는 그맛 그게 바로 한국 된장의 맛이 아닐까 나는 불 도 안킨 깡깜한 방에서 오랜시간 뒷골목만 걸어온 나의 인생을 들여다본다 두고두고 보고싶다 이제야 어디쯤 인지 감이 잡힌다 ( 이 골목은 언제 한번 꼭 들르고싶고 그날도 비가 내리면 좋겠다 ) 고국 떠난지 40여년 인생으론 결코 짧지 않은 세월 물론 사랑하는 가족이 있지만 그 행복 하고는 또 다른 공간의 외로움이 있다 바로 허전함이다 그러기에 그걸 풀기위해 끌적 거리고픈 욕구가 강하게 작용하는지도 모르겠다 매일 접하는 한국의정경 전혀 낯설지가 않다 말없이 카메라 들고 다니는 사람들의 수고로 속속들이 구석구석 보여주기에 그것이 바로 내가 한국에 사는듯한 자연스런 착각에 빠지게 만드는 것이 아닐까 오히려 나간지 오래된 city ( Manhattan ) 가 서먹서먹하게 느껴진다 아마도 십년은 넘었지싶다 60마일 떨어진 32가는 나갈 필요도 없고 관심밖이다 그래서 일까 완전 타국이다 한국행 비행기는 언제나 타게되려나 남들은 때마다 오간다는데 나는 단 한번도 없다 "오죽이네" 저 간판이 나를 놀리나 기막힌 내심정을 아는건 너 밖에 없구나 무심한 하늘도 내편인가 계속해서 흐르는건 빗물이랴 눈물이랴 안전한 도심속에 먹거리와 곁들여진 웃음소리가 들리는곳 가벼운 주머니로 인생의 에너지를 재충전 받는곳 정치 종교 사회 가정사 상관없이 무한 보따리를 풀어도 누가 안 잡아가고 얻어 터지지도 안터라 이토록 마음 문을 열고 즐길수있는 허심탄회한 뒷동네의 정취 사랑이 맴도는 이렇게 소박한 골목이 이지구상에 몇군데나 될까 술잔에 비친 여럿 인생들 어제의 웃음이 오늘은 눈물 또 쓸쓸허전함 무소식이 희소식 술잔 키재기인 희로애락의 인생들 내가 언제 한번 크게 울고웃었던가 언제 였더라 까마득 하구나 수시로 마주하는 이술잔 기쁜데로 슬픈데로 그저그런데로 누구라도 찰떡 궁합이다 나 라는 존재를 언제라도 부담없이 받아주니 고맙다 한잔의 술 두잔의 낭만 석잔의 추억 손바닥 안에 비춰진 홍조띤 내얼굴 내모습 별거 아니었네 신작로로 나오니 맛도 멋도 흥도 깨진다 역시 뒷골목이 더 편하고 좋았어 나는 돌아가련다 대로하곤 거리가 먼 내인생 부데낌 속에 우산속에 감춰진 내모습을 찿아야지 내고향은 역시나 결코 화려함 하고는 거리가 먼 마르지 않는 눈물샘과 같은 초라하고 은밀한 그늘진 곳 이었어 오늘 따라 빗소리가 너무 좋다........
