With everything Shania has gone through her; marriage, voice issues it does my heart good to see she has battled back and as far as I am concerned better and stronger than before.
@Buc_Stops_Here2 жыл бұрын
Agreed, I am just impressed that after having the devastating Lyme disease which weakened her voice significantly, she has worked so hard to get back to this state where she can perform and entertain again. I credit her hard work effort she has had all her life as well as her second husband who has been nothing but supportive in her efforts to get her back to this point. She has backup singers now but her voice is strong enough now she can carry songs as tough as this one.

@@Buc_Stops_Here You know this isn't live right?! I'm a massive Shania fan, and I agree with what you're saying about how she's battled back. But her voice isn't good enough anymore to hold a 2 hour show. Such a shame, but true. Love her all the same though!

It kinda says something when the audience is pretty much, meh. This is entirely too thought through. The dancers need to go… she was trying to do choreography to a song she’s been singing for 25 years that’s never had choreography at all. She looked uncomfortable, and like she was trying to remember what her next move was. She was disconnected and at times lip syncing. I’m a huge Shania fan. But she needs to tone it down a bit. I’m all about production, but not when it’s used to distract you from what’s really going on.

I've seen lists that ranks Shania along side of Patsy Cline as top female country singers...Shania's name shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath as Patsy Cline...
@Area49th2 жыл бұрын
I see, and who are you?
@fh47422 жыл бұрын
That's like comparing a 1908 Ford Model T to a modern day Tesla. They both have their charmes, qualities and successes. Just in a different time frame. Shania's always talked respectfully of the women in (country) music. Maybe you should do the same.😘
@TheMoodyLoners2 жыл бұрын
Agree. The biggest difference is that 60 years after her death people still listen to Patsy Cline and will be listening 60 years from now. This soulless junk will be heard by virtually no one in less than five years from now. Her whole act is about as country as Britney Spears or Lady Gaga, or Beyonce. In fact, you couldn’t tell them apart musically.
@secret53662 жыл бұрын
@@TheMoodyLoners 20 years since this song came out, she is doing live concerts again and still more relevant then anyone else in country. Oh and biggest selling country album of all time.

@@CoryFarrar2012 Not good, but perhaps no one in the audience cares. Shania Twain has many rock-country songs. I think her audience might like to see the musicans performing rather than splashes of photos in the background?
