nationale wetten verplichten alle schepen die in nederland aanmeren om een nederlandse vlag te hijsen. de vlag van de vlaggenstaat is wel toegestaan op de achterkant te blijven

De voorste vlag is van het land van bestemming en de achterste de vlag van de nationaliteit van het schip. Bij de hele grote schepen staan meestal de vlaggen gebroederlijk naast elkaar boven de stuurhut. Bij de Blue Nova kon ik de loodsenvlag niet vinden. (rood/wit) Heb wel genoten van de meeuwen en scholeksters. Bij de scholekster heb ik altijd het idee dat ze "geef hier" roepen.

most european countries still import russian gas. switching to a different supplier is very hard and takes a long time. immediately shutting off supply would greatly damage the energy grid of the country, and cause serious problems for the Yamal megaproject, possibly preventing it from sustaining itself even when sanctions are eventually lifted. the situation is already hard as it is, no need to make things worse.
