Cella Monte is the pearl of Monferrato. The village stands among the rolling hills of Monferrato Casalese, a land of vineyards and the production of well-known and loved wines, such as Grignolino, Barbera, Freisa. Cella Monte takes the name from the expression "locum cellarum" in reference to those small monastic settlements built starting from the 8th century and intended to host travelers and pilgrims heading to Rome. It is a small treasure, with the ancient squares, the vineyards that color the hills and the splendid rose bushes, it is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
