I don't care who includes what. we Chechens have nothing to do with Russia. we've been fighting it for 400 years. obviously you are a Russian migrant living in Asian countries. the Russians themselves are running away from their shithole country. but for a Chechen, the biggest insult is if you call him Russian.

The Grand Mosque is splendid . However , Grozni looks like a ghost city . It lacks life . The few people we saw in the video look depressed and unhappy !!!

That's called a Russian tyranny! They are held like hostages, don't be fooled by the buildings, it's only vanity. Human freedom is the buildings of the soul. There is none.
@alinaafghan34704 жыл бұрын
@@wolk7301 I swear it is so confusing and I don't know who to believe like you say they are held like hostages and some other chechen would be like nah we are happy and we love our govt and all that. Both would claim they are right and saying the truth.
@wolk73014 жыл бұрын
Alina Afghan You don’t have to believe one or the other. You just need to wonder. How would you feel if your country was a « federal subject » to a nation that killed 300.000 civilians 30 years ago, and millions during the 3 previous centuries. Subject to a nation where a single critic costs you life, and the life of your family? And how hard it is for anyone, but especially the youth that needs to develop itself, to hear everyday that their friend or relative, or a neighbor, has been caught, and is being severely tortured, and spending your nights always thinking when he or she will come back! It’s difficult for everyone, but especially for the youth... And think of the mood of the Chechen population who know they are supposed to live like this 24/7 until their death. How humiliating it is when the man chosen by your killers, declares on TV that he is the one and only master, that the others are not men. An oil and ressource rich country labeled as one of « the poorest ‘regions of russia’ ». Think about it. How frustrating it is when you are poor when you could start business, but you can’t because you’re not allowed. How frustrating it is to see them build fight clubs for the Chechen children, and not schools! A whole generation treated like a Roman slave, a gladiator, fighting naked for the pleasure of cruel men. And this is the only future allowed for your kids. The worst is not hard conditions. The worst for humans is when the hope is lost. When we humans think that this will never change. Because without a future you don’t have a reason to endure the pain. Someone who knows just a little the situation in Chechenya doesn’t need to listen to those who say they are happy, or those who say they are not. The answer comes obviously, and even seems absurd.

Grozny ( groźny ) means dangerous in polish...
@alhimily34952 жыл бұрын
Well, this word means in Russian intimidating,formidable
@alhimily34952 жыл бұрын
The city inherited its name from the military fortress "Groznaya", built in these parts by the Russian tsarist army for punitive purposes. According to Ermolov's logic, such names should have inspired fear among the highlanders and inspired Russian soldiers in the Caucasus. Chechens have not officially adopted this name and in Chechen the main city of Chechnya is called Solzha-Gala - i.e. the city on the Sunzha River. This is how Grozny is called in documents and on street signs in the Chechen language.
