SM Baguio is always my last stop on a Baguio day trip before boarding the bus in the late afternoon or early evening back to Manila as the trip is now 3-4 hours via TPLEX.

@@AlphaLibz My tip is to get to Baguio before sunrise to avoid the traffic, leave Manila around 2 or 3 in the morning. SM Baguio was used to be the Pines Hotel during my childhood in the 70s and 80s it was destroyed by fire in 1989 and was never rebuilt until the SM Group bought the property around 2003. I do visit Baguio but only during the lean season in June to August as it's least crowded and prices are lower but be sure to pack an umbrella and raingear as you experience Baguio during the rainy season. I bravely survived several typhoons on my past visits to Baguio.

Did you know that SM City Baguio has a Pine Tree Nursery outside on the South end of the building, they're also helping in the reforestation in many parts of Baguio and the surrounding towns of Benguet Province.

SM Baguio does not have air conditioning system due to the year round cool weather. It was pleasantly cool inside the mall no need for aircon
