It is about half a kilometer long - the walking part is 511.5 m, of which 458 m goes deep into the Gdańsk Bay. It is one of the city's greatest attractions. The "Molo" sea harbor in Sopot is located in the head of the pier.

Grand Hotel już dawno został sprzedany Niemcom a oni cały teren dookoła okratowali i nawet w pobliżu zdjęcia nie pozwalają zrobić. Tak zazdrośnie pilnując swojej własności. Jakąż głupota było sprzedanie tego hotelu. Pamiętam czasy, że chodziłam tam czasami na kawę i obiad. Ech, wspomnienia.

A kto i kiedy sprzedał go niemcom? W sieci znalazłem informacje, że już na początku tego wieku nabyło go jakieś konsorcjum z przewagą francuskiego kapitału, które przejęło poprzedniego właściciela hotelu, czyli ORBIS. Generalnie to całą Polskę wyprzedały solidaruchy za judaszowe srebrniki, jakie sami zakasowali.

Właścicielem hotelu jest Grupa Orbis, natomiast dyrektorem generalnym Gregory Millon. Niemcy nigdy nie byli właścicielami wiec jeżeli piszesz o jakims okradaniu to raczej piszesz o Grupie Orbis
