@@sla31 would you recommend the 512GB as a good option for the iPhone 14 Pro to record these trip reports?

Wow, good landing. Back in 1995, I came into JFK after a 12 hour flight from Tokyo (non-stop). Because I flew on a Japanese airline (ANA), I was one of the few US citizens on that plane which translated into a very short line going thru Immigration and Customs.

This happened to me recently when flying PLAY home from Iceland. It was their first flight from Iceland to the US so I was the only US citizen on the plane. Everyone else lined up in the non US citizens line and I just walked to the front of the US citizens line haha. It was a nice change of pace compared to waiting forever like normal haha.

@@sla31 Yes, just think, you could've been on Santa Mira Flight 209 in Sharknado 2 where they get hit by a sharknado storm and the hero of the movie makes an emergency landing at JFK. :)

Hey, welcome to my neck of the woods, 4 miles away. JFK is huge, on Sunday evenings/nights, they pass basically overhead taking off, like every other minute. Nice video.

A wondrous approach in a perfectly mixed weather day, the descent into the cloud deck was spectacular! The colour of the sky at sunset was breathtaking. Another awesome video! Whether the vantage point is from the inside as a passenger, or from the outside watching them takeoff and land, I'm always struck by how much quieter the MAX and the Dreamliner are as compared to other airliners. The cowling on the engines really make a difference!

I flew into Austin on a MAX8 a couple nights ago. By far the best 737 I ever flown on and that was on Southwest!

Awesome , Thanks Skylite 😊 The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that they have never bothered to contact us 🙃

This would've been a more stunning video if the sky wasn't so overcast. And I noticed that there was a United Airlines plane right near the end of the video taxiing behind that British Airways plane. I know United doesn't go to JFK anymore so I wonder why it was there??

This was filmed prior to their... Well, prior to their second time leaving the market, but after their first time haha. If that makes sense.

Great fly! Do you think Joplin Regional Airport might not be operable because the in the past, a lot of airlines has drop the flight to/from JLN? If United Express dropped the last two flight to/from ORD or DEN, this means the JLN is not available and you'll have to drive to Kansas City to reach MCI, the nearest airport from your hometown.
@sla31 Жыл бұрын
No, Joplin is an EAS city. That's essential air service. Which means that if Untied/SkyWest leave, the government will just put out another EAS contract for bidders, and someone else will take it. Government contracts pay pretty well for EAS service.

Hi skylite! Ive noticed your decline in views which im sure both of us arent happy about. Maybe to bump them up you could do trip reports as ive noticed that those get more views and people seem to like them more. Sure you could do both of these but im just putting out a suggestion! Regardless, amazing landing from the American Airlines crew!

I wouldn't say there's been a decline. Things have been pretty steady all year. In fact, things have been up slightly recently. I have some stuff in the works that aren't necessarily trip reports, but are very different than what I normally do though. So stay tuned.
