I’m planning a group trip here for next year and the group usually does all inclusive. This place is amazing. I am hoping the prices for food and drink aren’t too bad

Sorry for the late reply. The food prices are pretty insane here even relative to how much food is in the area. We ate at restaurants a few times but also ordered Grab food (think Uber Eats) a lot as well to save some money. That's really the only downside I can think of this resort! I believe you and your friends will have a fantastic trip if you decide to go!

H, Nice video. We are planning to book Cliff Junior Pool suite for our August Bali stay. I wanted to know which month did you stay and was It crowded? How was the service? We stayed at "The Mulia' suites during our last Bali visit and it was peaceful and luxurious. We are travelling to Bali this Aug and confused as in to rebook 'Mulia' or try Apurva. Thanks.

I was planning to stay in Nusa Dua for 2 nights, just inside the resort. Do you recommend Apurva Kempinski or Ritz Carlton or Sofitel? How was the food and service here? Is there a butler system like in Sofitel for Suites and Villas?

Hey sorry for the late reply! It depends on what you're looking for. The Ritz does not have a club level, the Apurva does. The Ritz is older, but in my experience quieter and with more personalized service (outside of the club areas of the Apurva). The Apurva is newer, with a much higher "wow" factor. It also has far more choices for food, although very expensive even compared to western prices. If I could do both hotels again I would choose the Apurva in the Cliff Suites with a nice private pool :D I I have not stayed at Sofitel Bali before.

What other attractions are there near Apurva? Are there bars or night markets close by for a night out? What about some family attractions during day time? Will be staying for a week at Apurva in May 2023 with my family. So excited!

Hi Danica! Unfortunately, the resort is pretty secluded. It's in a very quiet area of Nusa Dua with only resorts in the surrounding area. It's in a row of luxury beachfront resorts including The Ritz-Carlton (direct neighbor), St. Regis, and The Mulia. For bars and night markets, a Grab/Gojek is definitely your best bet. They are very affordable and will work with international credit cards (at least Grab does.) As far as family attractions, they offer a lot of complimentary activities, from watersports and to arts & crafts and even cooking classes. Trust me you won't be bored! You'll get a list of them when you get there. A week is the perfect amount of time to enjoy the resort. You're going to have so much fun, enjoy!! It'll be worth the wait :)

Forgot to add, the spa here is fantastic and I highly recommend getting a treatment. It's very affordable as well, relative to the prices of food around the property.

Hey Peggy! So sorry for the late reply. The weather was absolutely perfect throughout my stay (think low-mid 80s and very sunny, except for the last day when I recorded this video) but I am not sure if that's normal or not. The hotel had a decent crowd, it's just that I record my videos very early in the morning as to avoid crowds :) I think this hotel is a fantastic choice for a honeymoon. I believe you'll have the best time ever if you come to Bali! Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions :)
