I really loved both performances, they both killed it. I had a feeling that Seonyu would win just based on the energy her song had and the dance performance. But at the same time I thought Exy showed a bit more charisma, and her dance really matched well to the Latin vibe. I figured it going either way, but I really thought the vote would be much more divided. It’s amazing how Moonbyul was able to guess how they’d vote. I think she has a great instinct for how they will critique the idols. Also, can we just take a moment to appreciate Moonbyul? I love Mamamoo so much because they really are so caring, and not just for each other. They really take people under their wing and check in on them. The way she went to Exy at the end really just shows her character. I know some of the idols were worried that the competition might become too intense, and maybe get catty. But these girls are all so supportive of each other. It’s so nice to see them look out for each other and congratulate, even tho they are competing. ❤

Seonyu is new generation of kpop indeed . Plz don't spread hate on her ... Her voice & potential is full even she's 15 yrs old . I knew Seonyu with ' Lion ' on MTG . She can do rap , dance and vocal . It's just a round not a life guys . Exy , she's is good . But she just need little for this round . Talent can't decide by age & sexy or something guys ... Both two did well . And they are underrated in Kpop industry too .

I think that Moonbyul was thinking that even if the latin concept fitted so perfectly for Exy Sexy, as a vocal contest, Seonyou focused more on that aspect, I loved both but Exy had a better performance as a show, but Seonyou did just a lil better vocal wise(for the choice instead of skill, both of them have great vocal skills!)

For Exy, i don't think so. She know her charm very well.She didn't depend only on her seniority and reputation. But tbh, her singing a little bit lacking compared to Seonyu. Don't misunderstood. She performm really well. Both execute the concept that they want to portray excellently . It just Seonyu's vocal more prominent than Exy. That's what I observe and why more judges prefer her performance.

Congrats to Seonyou. For sure went into the competition expecting a lot from her, just bc of MTG. She's doing great, especially as the maknae of the show 👏 That said, I still don't understand the criteria behind these votes... Maybe if the judges weren't so wishy washy about whether they're voting based on performance or vocals or even just concept it wouldnt be so confusing for the audience. I'm just being a devil's advocate here, but can you say the same for Exy vs. Mimi performance? Mimi was voted based on a performance, she rapped, sung, danced, had a back up dancers and the flashy mirrors while Exy sang the whole time with nothing flashy or dance. woah don't mention this, exy's first round will be a complete slap to your comment now...I just think that the judges doesn't have a fix direction moving forward, they just keep changing the way they rate ppl which makes audiences confused. MOST IMPORTANTLY, it doesn't happen only to exy stages but also to others as well. It makes it hard to convince viewers why a side is picked as long as jtbc doesn't states clearly if they are gonna rate them through vocal or overall performance.

I love Exy’s performance but Seonyou’s vocals were much much stronger than her here. Her key/pitch is better for me. I appreciate the beauty of each performance but vocally Seonyou wins this one. But i kinda expected that it would be a close fight like three votes to two instead of four votes to one. Exy had every right to be upset because she did not perform badly that they would almost unanimously give all the votes to Seonyou. Those votes could really affect the mentality and morale of the competitor.
