I was here this year! I went as Sanji and my friend went as Shanks from one piece! We must have gotten stopped over 100 times by strangers to take pictures, it was so awesome but we eventually got so tired we and our friends had to flee to a Hookah bar to escape the endless cameras for a couple hours! Best Halloween ever (though it was a bit of a bummer that the city had passed an ordinance that combinis couldn't sell alcohol cause they were worried about what happened a few days earlier in Soule RoK, thankfully my friend dressed as Shanks brought a bunch of portable shots and we came with a lot of cash so we hit up some popular bars that night lol. Still remember how crazy it was at Hachiko exist outside of Shibuya Eki, we would literally take one photo with a giant crowd around us taking photos of us and before we could even move an inch someone else would move in to take photos, we felt like minor celebs!).

Wow, i was in Manhattan in december, and the crowds were just as chaotic. Thing is, the cops seemed to have absolutely no control over crossings.. NYPD should take a page out of Tokyo police's book! The way they create corridors is fantastic, and really efficient.. Obviously, Japanese citizens are way more disciplined, but there has to be a better way than NYC lol
