I used to work at a hotel in Chicago and served many people from around the world staying with us. I got to interact and meet a lot of Japanese people, they are some of the most polite, friendly and very well mannered people I have ever met in my life. I pray that I get to visit Japan one day a long with other parts of Asia. Ty for showing us a part of Japan. Blessings.

So do I! I'm always genuinely excited when I hear that someone has booked a first-time trip there because I can already picture their future happiness. Japan will be 100 times better than you are currently imagining...the things you will discover that no KZbin video has ever shown you. Good luck saving and hopefully this wretched virus will burn out within the next 2 years and by then, not only will international travel be back to being as close to 'normal' as possible but woo, you'll have all this time to save your spending money. :D

Gorgeous! It's the perfect time to walk around Kagurazaka. Early evening is also perfect for wandering around Ueno's market area, also Asakusa and Nezu too. So many areas can develop a new atmosphere depending on your timing-- and I don't mean the izakaya alleys, I mean certain streets or neighbourhoods. I'd LOVE to hear of other people's suggestions for areas that they find are MAGICAL at very specific times of the day/night.

Very cool and interesting back alleys. It always amazes me how you can go from noisy roadways, to quiet alleyways like this in Tokyo.
@ciganyweaverandherperiwink62934 жыл бұрын
If you went down these sort of alleys in any other country on planet Earth you'd see nothing of interest, just litter, bags of rubbish, bins and homeless people. In Tokyo, they are sci-fi magic mixed with the lovely traditions of the past. I'm like you-- I'm always amazed by what greets me down the narrow, most unlikely of alleyways. Always worth detouring when walking around Tokyo. And off the main roads can suddenly become astonishingly quiet and peaceful, like Togo Shrine just near Takeshita Dori...gorgeous.

The Alleys is where the secrets at. It's where you will find the hidden spots that you will get surprised. Every year we go to Japan. We are just using google maps for directions whenever we are going to places we plan to go. But everytime we misread the direction and we got lost, thats the time you will discover enchanting alleys not every foreigners got to see because most of the time foreigners just go typhical places. I already saw half of the worlds because i worked in a cruiseship before. But i can say easily Japan is my favorite places in this planet. Period!
