Hi if the camera is connected to wifi/bt and on the on position can it record the video or take a photo through the motion activation? At the moment my trail camera only records if I push the record button manually when in the wifi/bt mode.

No you want it in "on" mode for regular operation

question..i have similar camera but after i do setup with setup button..do i then switch to on to have it start taking pics or does it stay in setup mode?seems like the batteries run down fast as i am learning..have the wholev 4k one

Go to on. If you leave wifi/bt on and especially connected via phone it will drain the battery faster.

@@NaterTater another question..i have it set to 3 shots then video..i had timer on from 1800-5am..i went outside to see if it was working and it got me on the cam and a few min later my husband walking dog..now if the sensor doesnt see anything will it not take pics and video at all? even if it is setup for every 2 mins? as nothing else was on the card..just wondering..thx

I have this camera when I go to download the picture to my phone how do I see them? They only show up on the app under local while connected to the camera when I disconnect from the camera the app won’t let me see the pictures it will only let me try to connect to the camera

They are likely in a different folder than your regular "camera" folder.

Hey man I got this camera after watching your review and im having nothing but problems with it. I cant get the app to work and the camera keeps shutting itself off.

Have you tried contacting customer support? Mine still works as expected. New batteries?

Have you run across a trail cam that talks to your home wifi as long as your in range

In those cases I use one of my battery powered security cams. I've used a ring stickup (amzn.to/3Ap8Ga3) or my eufy s40 solar powered cam (amzn.to/3nJmxmv). Ring is only 1080p but the eufy is 2k. Also a cheaper Eufy, e40 (amzn.to/3rCyUC1) if you didn't want the solar.

Ok. Several questions. Once setup, I only want pics, no vids, so I assume that’s possible. Also, the Bluetooth range is about 75’, so once setup I never need to physically visit the camera again? Lastly, is there a solar power source that works with this model?
