About 1978, I and a mate ran for the Perth train in the bay (2 hour gap to the next), something like a 26 and 3x Mk. 1 carriages. We just made it, jumped in the end carriage - then nothing happened. After 5 minutes, stuck my head out of the window, turned out the train was a 26 and 2x Mk. 1 and we were all alone. Bastard!
