Thank you Mark, really glad you enjoyed it! I like this route as well - the canal is an underappreciated running spot in Montreal!

Thank you Jean! Fall is my favourite time of year and I'm glad I could show why! 🙂

Thanks so much for this beautiful video! I love that you wear your GoPro on your head instead of carrying it. It makes it so much more realistic. I am rehabbing on the elliptical and your videos are very helpful for me mentally! Keep them coming!

Wow! Good video. I used to live in Montreal (not far from the Canal Lachine) and did not realize how crowded and popular the bicycle path was. Makes it a bit dangerous to run on it... between the scooters, strollers and wanna be Lance Armstrongs...!

Hi Luc, thank you for the feedback! This was a particularly busy day, there are usually far fewer people out! 😄

Great video! Is this your head mounted hero 8? How do you keep the horizon so level? Keep up the great content!
@StridesandSummits4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the feedback! Yep, this is all done with the Hero 8! Before getting going, I spend a good amount of time making sure the horizon is 'just right' using the GoPro app on my phone. That doesn't always work, though, and sometimes I have to rotate the footage a bit. Definitely been keeping my eye on the GoPro 9 - if anything, for that auto-horizon feature which would be handy. I spotted in one of your shadows it looks like you are holding the camera on a stick - is that the case? The footage comes out pretty steady - especially considering how natural it is to move your arms when running!

Hi, I have a question : How do you put pace, distance, grade and elevation to your video ? Do you use Mac ?
@StridesandSummits2 жыл бұрын
Hi bolitebou, the run metric overlays are generated using Garmin Virb Edit and merged with the footage in Davinci Resolve. I use Windows.
