Thank you for these videos. I feel so many emotions watching them. My dad and have watched like 10 of your vids this past few days. My grandfather Joseph Chee went missing in NK at Outpost Kelly about 90km N of Seoul. He was fighting the Chinese and was wounded and ultimately captured, they never returned him. Lord only knows what he suffered, but these videos have shown my dad and I what his sacrifice was for. Just seeing this city puts alot into perspective, his loss was not in vain, I'm sure my grandfather himself would say Korea is worth dying for. I love this county and it's people so much. These videos have given us pride to replace feelings of hurt and confusion. At the time them troops probably had no idea what this country would turn into. I mean Seoul is bigger than our biggest city New York, and so much clearer and safer. I bet they asked WTF are we doing here, seeing their friends die, suffer for a country they never heard of at time. My grandad is part of 54,000 us troops who died for ROK. I couldn't be more proud of him. Thanks to your videos we see why he never got to come home. & We both agree it was ultimately worth it. So much beauty here . Lastly, We Go Together. 🇰🇷🇺🇲 Always and forever

kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5K4oZ9nmdGarqc Anchor comment The Battle of Imjin River was a battle that discouraged the Chinese army during the Korean War, when more than 5,000 British and Federal soldiers were moving southward. Veterans visited Korea again after 65 years. Reporter Wuhansol reports. Reports In April 1951, when the Korean and U.N. forces were retreating behind tactics due to the Chinese military. More than 750 British Gloucester battalion members stationed near the Imjin River will be ordered to defend the high ground. The opponent is more than 30,000 Chinese soldiers. But battalion members remained undaunted and fought for three nights and nights. After a fierce battle, 59 people were killed and 530 captured, but their defeat was worth more than victory. Thanks to three days of deterrence from the Chinese offensive, the South Korean and U.N. forces were able to build a new line of defense. At that time, the warriors visited Korea again to mark the 65th anniversary of the Battle of Imjin River. The white-haired old soldier is still alive in the tense battle situation at the time. Interviewer Harry Hawkins: "I was scared to death. We haven't slept a wink for three days." Veterans who risked their lives to protect Korea. They now wish for a bigger dream of unification on the Korean Peninsula. Interview Thomas Cluff: "South Korea is prosperous and peaceful, but I don't think it's North Korea. I want to see a peaceful unified Korea." I'm Wuhansol from KBS News.

Hey there, I've just discovered your channel and watched a couple of your videos - quite an amazing eye you have in spotting daily life go by .. I guess this is what attracts the foreigner's eye the most, human interaction in its spontaneous form and its natural habitat, like, oh wow, this is how your people look like, how they walk, talk or behave in their natural environment - everyone from everywhere are attracted to and enjoy people watching, right? Just to learn about other cultures and enrich your perspective on life .. Korean street fashion, well yeah, it seems people are image conscious and very good at grooming themselves ( I have yet to see men with messy hairstyles.. 😇), better than what you see on some western European streets I would say .. probably on the Japanese streets have I seen not necessarily better dressed people but maybe more variety in their fashion style. Your night walks are a huge plus as well, congrats for a job well done! I'll keep watching. Greetings from Germany 😉

Thank you for your serious opinion. I want to follow my heart and expand the filming site, but I wonder if people will welcome it. But inevitably I will have to try. I wish I could do more. It may be the best life to earn income and be loved by people through things you like or maybe your natural self. Anyway, I want you to keep following me. Which city do you live in Germany?
@tymeamora3 жыл бұрын
@@SeoulTripWalk By all means follow your heart. As I see it, you have the technical skills to produce quality stuff and more importantly a keen sense of observation, a good eye and empathy to seize the essentials of your surroundings (be it sights/places or people). Have courage and expand your sphere of interest, trial and error is known to lead to progress, right? 😅 You might build yourself a career sooner than later if you have a clear vision of what you desire. Everybody starts small .. gifted artists earn a living by doing what they like and people love them, don't you agree 😉..? I live on the German side of lake Constance (Bodensee or Konstanz in German) very close to the Swiss border. Are you Korean by the way?

Another poster noted that this city is cleaner, safer and nicer than New York. I've never been to NY, but it definitely looks even more wealthy and nicer than Houston where I live (including the Galleria area and the rich areas of the city), or Austin and the other major cities in Texas. Certainly safer, I would imagine, as we had 400 murders last year, and will likely have double that amount by the end of this year (the murder rate in every major US city has increased by a very high number since 2019, when all the riots were going on, and continue to get worse, with it doubling in many instances). I also note, since the title of this video had me thinking of fashion, that I didn't see a single person in this video who I would describe as having "no class." Very beautiful city and beautiful people. Yet another encouragement for me to study Korean and visit this fine country one day!
