One night, a Bihari guy and his Bangla friend went to steal silverware from a rich home. The Bihari guy accidentally dropped a cup onto the marble floor & it made a loud noise. HOMEOWNER: Kaun hai? (Who is there?) BIHARI GUY (making sound like cat): Meaow, meaow! Then there was silence as the homeowner thought that it was a cat. Meanwhile, the Bangla friend had also collected some other silverware including a nice silver teapot - but he also accidentally drop it and it made an even bigger noise. HOMEOWNER: Koi hai vahaa'? (Anyone there?) BANGLA FRIEND (shouting in Bhojpuri): Ek aur billi! .

A Chinese man and his pregnant wife came to visit India - and were so enthralled with the country, that they decided it would be a great idea to get appropriate names for the twins they were expecting. Unfortunately, the twins arrived early - so they hurried to a Bihari Purohit to consult him for names. COUPLE: What shall we call them? PUROHIT: Jo Hua, So Hua. (What was to happen, it happened.)

I wanted to marry this Devi, but her parents wouldn’t agree; because they could not see, that I was truly parhi-likhi. They wanted me to live in a city, that is clean & crime-free. So I decided to write a letter, with high hopes for the better; to both her mother & father, which might change the matter. Dear Maa-ji aur Paapa-ji; After prolonged consideration, and very much cogitation; of the excellent reputation, you possess in this great nation; I have a strong inclination, to become your matrimonial relation. It is indeed no exaggeration, that I completed my matriculation; with the highest qualification, & am proceeding to my destination. On acceptance of my sincere declaration, I will start preparation; to change my current habitation, to a more convenient location; without hesitation, for the solemnization, of matrimonial situation. Yours, with the best of intention; a descendant of an ancient civilization, Ramu.
