Hello, this is Jmh Walker. Today, I walked around Eungam-dong, located below Baekryun Mountain. Eungam-dong here is named after Maebawi, a large rock at the foot of Baekryun Mountain behind the village that resembles a sitting falcon, and was incorporated into Seoul in 1949. In 1911, it became Poban-dong, Eungam-dong, and Geosan-dong, and in 1914, when it was incorporated into Goyang-gun, the three dong-ri were combined and renamed as Eungam-ri. Looking at the adjacent area, which is now mostly residential, Hongeun-dong is bordered by Nokbeon-dong and Baekryunsan Mountain ridge to the east, and is neatly bordered by Namgajwa-dong, Bukgajwa-dong, and Jeungsan-dong in that order, forming a sub-center area. In the west, Jeungsan-dong and Sinsa-dong are neighbors, and in the north, Yeokchon-dong and Nokbeon-dong are located along the old Yeoncheon. Then, would you like to walk with me? Thank you for subscribing and liking and setting the alarm.
