Shifted from Mumbai to Bangalore last week, missing Mumbai badly already. Bangalore's weather is awesome, people are friendly and warm , and is as beautiful a city as Mumbai but Mumbai is Mumbai , and as a city it has its own charm which I badly miss. Hoping to return to my birthplace soon :)

Bengaluru is like a village grown too big. There's pretty much only one city in India without any major water, electricity, basic issues.

@@bugged1212 yes to some extent. The problem with the city is that it's not so well planned like Mumbai. It was not built as a city but as a sleepy pensioners paradise. Today it has exploded into a megacity in bits and pieces.

The first time I ever visited mumbai, which was a few years back, I stayed at the Trident in a high floor sea facing room. It was a sight to behold. Coincidentally, it was a Sunday morning also when I checked in. I used to go for walks in and around the hotel and I really enjoyed my stay in the city . The IPL was on and I saw and even interacted with a few of the teams staying at the hotel. Heath streak, rohit sharma, the entire Gujarat team (I forget the name). Even worked out in the gym with jonty rhodes and Kieron Pollard. The nicest guys around. I always try and stay in Marine Drive, Juhu or Bandra West whenever I come. Cant wait to be back. And yes, being from the NE, I find that people in Mumbai are the nicest, out of all the metros.

13:40 Soona Mahal, one of the most beautiful Art Deco on marine drive. On ground floor it also has very popular hanging out place Pizza By the Bay. 18:32 Krishna Mahal, first building on right side. Suraiya used to live there. 19:48 Keval Mahal, Kapur Mahal, Zaver Mahal. Those were the very first Art Deco that were built on backbay reclamation. Named after three brothers who owned them. They also owned Roxy cinema at Opera House.
