I liked how you gave background and history to these buildings. Really liked the old buildings with their ornateness and detail. Back in the day they knew how to do this. Awesome video as always. Yours Cynthia

Great Walk! Winnipeg is my favourite prairie city, it has a lot more interesting urban character than Calgary or Edmonton, IMO.

And what a lovely hood it is! My husband and I nearly bought a loft in the ashdown back when we were first together (25 yrs ago!) but didn’t and always regretted it so now we’re looking in the same building for one when our daughter moves out!!

the Radison hotel used to be called the Northstar and it had two movie theaters below ground. that was in the 1970's.

we move to Daylight saving time ( summer time) in hebrew( shaon (clock ) kaitz means summer ) back to 8 hours difrence between winnpeg and israel for example 9 am morning in winnpeg 1700 afternoon in israel .

@@dhiyaeddinetitouche8669 we still have some restrictions in place (limited people in stores and restaurants etc) but quite a bit is open yes. Sadly some downtown businesses didn’t manage to stay afloat during the pandemic and have closed but lots are starting to open up again, which is exciting.
