If this is G-OLEG, it suffered engine failure immediately after landing at Teesside Airport 8/6/24. No injuries but airport was shut for 40 minutes until it was towed from runway.

I was a bit confused by the description. I knew the original had a Klimov V-12, but it also says something in the description about an Allison V-1710... which is it. Sure sounds like an Allison when you hear the takeoff and low passes

It's a new build replica by Yakovlev with Allision V-1710 engine.

Maybe the best turning fighter of WW2. Perhaps only the Zero could turn inside a Yak 3. Yak 3, Spitfire, Zero, Ki-43, Ki-100, Ki-84, and Shiden Kai were all the best pure dogfighters of the war.
