She makes a round trip to Antarctica once a year. Crew members belonging to the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force are replaced every few years. Every year, they visit ports all over Japan for training and open the ship to the public. Thanks for watching.

Thank you very much. Since this ship is an Antarctic observation ship, she makes a round trip to Antarctica via Australia once a year. If Terry-san's ship is trapped in ice on the Great Lakes, this icebreaker ship may go to the rescue. :D

前港の室蘭で「しらせ」を撮影していました。まさか次港の長崎入港シーンを観られるなんて😊 動画ありがとうございます。 ちなみに室蘭入港時はヘリは搭載していませんでした。
