My dad grew up there, & I lived there from birth to 4th grade, the hill on the left, at 7:13, we used to call it weinny hill

I grew up in Plains, from the 4th grade up and graduated class of 89. Never heard that hill being called by the name of weinny hill...but Football and how the Plains Cowboys were doing was topic of everyone's conversation most of the time anyway.

I know population in this type of towns is really small, but even when you drive in big cities, one thing is a bit strange for me, why is there little to no one walking around? Do you drive around in some early hours, or? As a European I am used to see not just cars, but also people just walking somewhere and as nice as your videos are, I just keep wondering.

Some of it is the logistics of filming a driving tour will put me further away from where pedestrians are and some places are entirely closed to vehicles. I also tend to film on weekends, and the pandemic had fewer people commuting in cities in general. But even outside of that there are generally far fewer pedestrians in most American cities. The distances are much further than in most places in Europe, the weather can be too warm to comfortably walk longer distances and there is often insufficient infrastructure such as safe sidewalks, bike lanes, or public transportation.
