I’m hoping to start some lavender when we get to our new homestead. You had such a good explanation. I like it in coffee and lemonade. I also want to make lavender wands.

Lavender really is so easy…and so beneficial! It has trouble growing some places…but it does great here where we are at. See, lemonade, never would have thought to put it in lemonade.

Very beautiful & informative video! I love lavender plants, and I am growing my first one which has already bloomed. So gorgeous to see it in my yard now, but I also would love a bouquet of it in the house. I have two questions… does the plant grows more flowers after you harvest it, or that’s it for the season? And if I want a bouquet of it in my house, should I use them fresh right away, or should I dry them first? Thank you!

A beautiful video.... I bought some from Lowe’s but it died. Are there certain lavenders more suited for certain parts of the country? I sure would like to grow some. Iam in east TN. Do you have a suggestion of what kind I should try? If so where to buy it. Thanks so much. !! God bless !!!!

We have heard lavender is extremely hard to start from seed.
@confidenshal-learnwithkay15115 ай бұрын
Hi to be honest, lavender is one of the most difficult plant to grow from seeds. They are finicky and they are slow grower, but maybe if you put the seeds in the ground, it may do better.

You are wasting rubber bands.. you can easily braid some into a bundle that big and have hung it on the nail.. doesn't even have to be braided very much just 3 or 4 twist that's it.. as it dries it will become more sturdy and stay together..
@lauralinneavisintainer33342 ай бұрын
Rubber bands ARE reusable...even if you break it you can tie it back together...over and over again 😂
