Japan 🇯🇵 is very beautiful as a country and a city. Everything is very well maintained, be it the city's streets, roads, parking areas, electric poles, everything. There is no garbage visible anywhere on the roads, street vendors, nor is there any garbage dump anywhere. Both the government and the people there fulfill their responsibilities. Every person of the city is very disciplined and aware towards his responsibility and he cares about the environment of the streets of his country and city. We 🇮🇳 and even our government should learn from Japan. How has a country which was destroyed become so developed today? ❤ lots of love from🇮🇳

I don't know. I think they should bulldoze all those apartments for a Costco or Walmart. Then build a freeway through the middle of it to ease congestion. And with that freeway there, there's no use for any of the rail, so they should remove the rail and replace it with a 6 lane road with strip malls. Now THAT's a suburb!

One of just a few things East Block countries were doing right was designing 'settlements' around similar idea. A park would be built, then in said park just a few blocks of flats, and inside the park all the basic services, like a food store, chemist, medical practice and nursery, while a school would in a few minutes walking distance so people living there had no need to leave the are unless they worked elsewhere.

Understand, though, that Tokyo (along with most Japanese cities) were burned to ash during World War 2. Most cities in the world aren't forced to be rebuilt from the ground up but grow without planning. I'm not making a comment about the bombing of Japan, just pointing out that cities aren't generally "designed" at all. They grow over centuries.

@@aruhik chill dude, you didn't have to be this aggressive. Majority of societies are not like this in India. It's not only about cleanliness, but overall quietness and peace. Just kind of "slow life" feeling that I get from Japanese suburbs, even those which are in middle of metropolitans. If you're feeling offended about reality, then you're delulu or whatever
