Simply mesmerising, saying this is on another level its an understatement. I've put a mix on YT called "Playstation 1 nostalgia ambient atmospheric jungle drum and bass mix" and goes so well with this, feels so utopic.

A friend of mine who had visited Shibuya once told me, "It was so crowded, I thought there must be a festival going on or something." Thinking there couldn't possibly be that many people there normally, I decided to check out Shibuya for myself. But guess what? The day I went just happened to be what I thought was the actual day of a festival. I wandered around looking for the main festival site for a while before I realized-it was just an ordinarily busy day there. That city really knows how to fool you!

imagine Japans electric bill? ...however, absolutely amazing everything about Japan!... every country should be envious of this society.
When I see how beautiful and clean Japan is, I don't understand how they are having a demographic crisis. Anyone can understand why it's a bad time to have kids in the West. The West is falling apart. But Japan looks like the peak of civilization. Who wouldn't want to bring kids into an environment like that?

The grass is greener on the other side. Every country has their pros and cons. Japan has long working hours and low pay, making it difficult for the younger generation to make the time or money needed to raise a child. The statistics for working hours in Japan are unfortunately heavily underreported. There is also a huge gender wage gap in Japan, so a two-person household income is not as great as it is in Western countries. The West is not falling apart.

The differences you intuitively feel from the West when you see this current image of Tokyo probably correctly captures the difference in reality. Why do the West, the East, and Japan today share common science, technology, civilization, and knowledge, but actually produce different living spaces and cultures? Is it a difference in DNA? It is because Japan is an isolated island nation surrounded by the sea on all four sides (and it is a volcanic archipelago), and the environment surrounding its people is completely different from that of continental countries. I believe that these differences in the natural environment of the land have accumulated over a long period of time to produce unique behaviors and a unique culture and history. Adaptation to the natural environment is necessary to survive anywhere. This is because the natural environment and land patterns in which humans live must adapt to the unique characteristics of the land in order to sustain the tribe. Even the same modern city is built on different lands, and urban planning appropriate to each land is essential. Therefore, as long as the characteristics of the land remain the same, it is not surprising that Tokyo differs from Western cities of the same era or Asian cities on the continent.

The west is falling apart due to it's immortality and the mistreatment of it's black citizens.
i used to want to go in japan. Not anymore. it's better to see japan on video than for real , too many of cultural flaws. bland people who think to say what would be good for us while they're often wrong about us , who force themselves to be friendly while it's only at the surface and they avoid foreigners like pest and insult them in the back, too difficult language to learn, too expensive services , too rigid laws , no thanks
@brianchar-bow32738 ай бұрын
Not only is Japan originally a rich natural environment, but it is also a harsh and severe natural environment that is unimaginable in continental life. That is why Japanese people could not live with a loose feeling like life on the continent. On the island of Japan, there is a base tension that you never know when an unreasonable catastrophe will strike randomly and threaten your life. Anyone who lives in this land must always be prepared for that, otherwise they cannot cope with disasters. The habit of hiding their true feelings and seeming to cooperate with each other, even if only superficially, is also because they do not have the time to artificially create trouble in their relationships in addition to natural disasters. In the face of natural disasters beyond human control, it is inefficient for people to make their own actions add to the trouble in their lives, so customs were born to avoid conflicts in human relations as much as possible. This is an extremely rational choice, and when it works well, it also makes society more peaceful and less prone to trouble. People who grew up in a peaceful continent with few natural disasters would not understand this. Do you know why horror movies of Godzilla attacking and destroying cities overnight were born in Japan? Godzilla is shaped like a monster, but it is a metaphor or embodiment of the Japanese people's latent fear of typhoons, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, and other terrible natural disasters. It is a film that could not have been made in a country that does not have such latent fear of the natural environment. However, the rich and harsh natural environment of Japan is one aspect of the reality of our planet Earth. In that sense, it is a reality that cannot be denied. Seeing reality without bias is an important factor to avoid making mistakes.
