Revealing that 2 of the most popular idols are dating would spark a lot of controversy and hate amongst fans. Fans are what power labels and keep celebrities relevant. Pentagon was rising to the top and had lots of followers and Edawn was the most popular. Followers that enjoy keeping their idols single and open to their imagination. Hyuna was a big role model for girls and a figure for men. Both of them revealing their relationship disrupted the relationship they had with their fans. Their labels keeping them would cause more problems than letting them go. The label also had to keep their other artists in mind. While Hyuna brought money in, she wasn't the only person under the label. Others also worked hard to succeed under the label. It wouldn't have been fair to them for all of the label's attention to go to Hyuna and Edawn. Also, as I explained earlier, Pentagon was a group and Edawn wasn't the only member. He should have kept the other members in mind. It was a bit selfish of him to reveal the relationship and not consider the consequences. Now, Pentagon will never really be complete until Edawn returns.
