Hi there! I speak about transitioning out in my Q&A video but basically what I did was I put her for all her naps after 4 months cold turkey in the crib and she did fine then at night I just kept lowering the speed every 3/4 days until she wasn’t sleeping with any movement and this really made transitioning easy. I just got this for my granddaughter, my family and I are taking care of her for the time being. Suffice to say I wish I had this and the chair back in my kids day, late’80s & ‘90s would have saved my kids the agony of their parents getting too tired to rock them or hold them. Regular swings don’t even compare with this wonderful technology.

They really should upgrade this without the abrupt stop, perhaps baby could be less dependent on the movement this way because it can shut off earlier.

Yes! I actually used the sheets I had for my Halo bassinet and these; Fitted Bassinet Sheets amzn.to/2PcWPoJ 😀 They are only about half an inch too big so I just tucked the side in a bit and they were perfect! Did you buy the sleep bassinet?!

This was a great review. I’m due in September (1st baby) & I’m trying to decide between this or the Graco Sense2Snooze Bassinet with cry detection. Especially since a lot of reviews on the 4 moms only uses one of the movement settings.

Thanks mama and congratulations that sooo exciting! I’m due with my second on sept 3rd! We are so close!… I don’t know much about the graco sense2snooze and I used a couple different motions for my daughter on the 4moms bassinet but it doesn’t have cry detection so that’s definitely different. I know they say the right to left swaying motion is the most helpful so that’s why I’d probably still go for the 4moms but again I can’t say for sure without having tried the graco. Hope that helps mama! 🤗

Hi Ashley! Thank you for this update. I was torn between this and the Halo Bassinest, and I was set on the 4moms. Today I received an email from 4moms stating the bassinet was back in stock, but due to manufacturing issues, they removed the vibration function going forward. This concerns me as that was one of the reasons I wanted the 4moms bassinet. If you did not have the vibration function, would you still consider it worth the purchase? Thank you!

T W Hi! So glad you like the video! I can see why they took off the vibration, in my original video I mentioned how I did not like it, it’s very aggressive so I personally have never used it. I had the halo as well and this for me is 10 times better, it helps her sleep so much 😃 it naturally vibrates when it moves so I say big thumbs up for the mamaroo sleep!

Hey Jessica 👋🏻 thanks for watching! I can a lot of people complain about the sound the mamaroo makes when it moves for some of theirs but honestly I don’t think it’s loud. Definitely no smell and it’s never stopped on it’s on own I’ve just had issues getting it started with the app before I put my baby in but usually i just unplug it and re plug it and it’s fixed. Also I used to put my daughter in after it was moving so not to wake her lol and then amp up the speed and it never was such a harsh movement that it woke her. Hope this helps mama!

Megan Keene oh yes! Very happy, I just recently put it away since we transitioned my daughter to her own room/crib now. It worked perfectly and honestly I miss it lol, wish her crib moved like that!... The only thing is sometimes the app wouldn’t start until I turned it on myself once. I never re installed the app though so maybe that would do the trick!... Are you thinking about buying it?

I’m strongly considering it! And your review has been really helpful. We are about to have our 3rd, and last. And both our others we had to rock vigorously in a rock n play to get them to sleep. We were CONSTANTLY rocking that thing lol. And now they aren’t safe. And I’ve been struggling to find something I like. I have just read some reviews where people say theirs stopped working very quickly and 4moms wasn’t easy to deal with. But I get that it’s like that with almost all items. Just a little nerve racking when it is such a pricey item 😬

My daughter also requires a lot of rocking so it has saved me hours of just holding her to sleep like I used to, I feel your pain mama! Definitely nerve racking when it’s an investment, however maybe u wana check out the re sale value on them since it will be your last baby 😊 for example I just looked up the resale for the Halo Bassinet Premier on FB Market for you and some even go for $150! Just a thought 🤗 glad the reviews have helped 💕

👋🏻 hello! Thanks for watching and congratulations! I am due in September as well 😊 I have heard a lot of people say it’s noisy. To me it’s not noisy or maybe it’s the one I have but the motor that makes it move it pretty quiet plus I put the sound machine on. I have never had it shut off in the middle of using it but I have had issues turning it on through the app at which point I did have to disconnect it from the wall and re connect it to turn it back on but that was because the app wasn’t reading. The buttons on the bassinet itself always worked to turn it on and use all the functions. For us the bassinet is totally worth it from our experience. Hope this helps! Best of luck! 🤗

My 3 year old gets into trouble in seconds so I’m hoping I can save time putting the baby to sleep with this but some of the reviews are making me worried. I guess I could always use it with it off if the movements don’t work out but I feel like that would be such a waste of money. I’m pretty sure I talked my mom into getting that from my registry so guess it won’t be that bad if it’s a gift lol.

You know honestly I don’t think she was dependent on the bassinet movement. I switched her for nap time to get Crib pretty soon and she slept fine. They do say those are two different sleep patterns but when I switched her at night to her crib when she outgrew it we had no issues. I did wean her off the bassinet in two weeks tho I didn’t just go cold turkey so that would be my advice to wean them off the movement. Hope this helps 😊

Trying to decide between this and the MamaRoo swing. We won't be able to afford/justify both as this is our last baby. She's not a fan of the traditional swing, nor is she a great sleeper. We typically have to take her for a car ride to get her to calm down at least 1x/ day. So just trying to decide which of the two would be better (if it works, she probably will sleep in there, but my husband is worried about her rolling, which I saw wasn't an issue for you). Which would you recommend to soothe a baby if you were only getting one?

Hey Caitlin! Thanks for watching 😊 tough question, but If I were only to get one i’d probably get the bassinet because my daughter was a really bad sleeper and it’s the only thing that helped me sleep at all. Plus it’s super light so you could always bring it out to your living room and put a mobile to entertain your little one while it moves (not sure about them associating it with play or sleep if you do that though) The day my daughter was born she was already trying to roll she was on her side a lot but the Ollie swaddle or pretty much any swaddle kept her from rolling since she was so little and the movement definitely didn’t flip her because it’s such a large surface and a large movement plus the movements aren’t super fast. Hope this helps mama!

Hi! I don’t think that’s a problem because when baby sleeps in the bassinet should always be on their back that would only concern me if they sleep on their stomach but back is best. My concern is the side panel mesh but it’s SUPER breathable and I know this because my kids both have slept right against it 😂 most of the nights! Hope that helped!

Hi, which owlet was tested with the bassinet? Was it ver 2 or 3 (ver 3 is the one that wirelessly charges and ver 2 you have to plug in). I read ver 3 does better with movement then the previous which I own

I tested it with the 2. I did hear the same about the 3 that he’s supposed to be better when it comes to properly sensing movement however I don’t think this will interfere with the bassinet.

Selena Diaz Hi, and thank you! No, I would recommend having both. Baby will grow out the bassinet by the first 6 months probably (every baby is different, might be sooner) but I nap my daughter in the crib so she starts getting used to it for when I transition her out of the bassinet. That’s a really good question actually, I think that it would be hard if they would soak through their diaper and their PJ and swaddle and the sheet would probably catch most of it. Also the mattress seems to be water resistant lining and it would take a lot of water to short circuit at which point the machine should just shut off but I haven’t researched that enough to know 🤷‍♀️

Archie The Husky Hi! So glad you like the video! I think people might have the vibrate setting on because it is a bit loud. I do not use this setting and I have heard that it has since been removed from the features. I do not hear any loud sounds when I use it normally. I think it’s very quiet to be honestly.

Hi! Thanks for watching! From my understanding the wifi/Bluetooth is just for the phone app so you can turn it on from your phone. The bassinet works from just turning it on the bassinet itself. I used just the bassinet a lot and wasn’t using the wifi 😊

Does your baby sleep better in here vs the Halo bassinet? I know this bassinet doesn't have the foldable wall that lets you stay in bed while attending baby. Would you prefer Halo because of that or still stick to mamaRoo?

My baby sleeps much better in the mamaRoo Bassinet because of the movement. She did not like the Halo Bassinet much and woke often. The foldable wall was definitely a plus to get her in and out but other than that I did not put her directly next to my bedside, she was a couple feet away so I wouldn't say it is a feature I needed. I was concerned about this too, I did since reach out to 4moms and they told me the timer is JUST in place to establish a bedtime routine so the baby does not become dependent and can absolutely continuously be re set. Still though one of the features I like the least, wish it had the option to stay on all night 🤷‍♀️ they have not said this feature will change in the future as of yet.
