@@4MRanch Standard CAT warranty I believe is 2 years 2000 hours.

@kahvac you can extend if you want to but yes 2 years, tbh hydraulic wise your pretty safe it's the electrical stuff that is the Downer

If people buy a machine and don’t know where you put diesel in . They don’t need to drive/own one. Make it easier to maintain and work on.

It was when they were renting them, my buddy has a rental service and they’d go to refill it and put it in the hydraulic oil tank so I he had to start padlocking every one of them

@4MRanch i almost bought one of these a few months ago but im now thinking of the 275 and selling my d3 dozer. Cat has made alot of progress in recent years with alot of thier machines. I love the 420 bh i got, was always a case guy before .

Yeah, I think they’re supposed to be coming out this next year sometime. a 275 and a 285 that’s supposed to be like 130 hp.

@chriss7930 i run 3 kubotas there is no rattle. And even if there were id take the convenience of being able to hop in and out with the fork being raised a little bit then being stuck as soon as you lift the forks

@tishachiliy well I run 5 cats, never really had an issue with having the boom right down. You just get used to it. The cat is a far better machine. Although they could make the light package a bit better. And because of all the people bleating about rear visibility when you have reversing cameras I feel the side visibility has been compromised a bit.

@chriss7930 i have to be in and out of the machine and alot of times when I lift something a foot or so I gotta get out to check on something it's no issue whereas in a door that swings open if you have the boom lifted even a little you can no longer get out without putting it back down the door won't open i like to be able to hear and talk to the crew outside the machine with the door closed you can hear anything when you are constantly communicating with the guys in the Ditch the door is a pain in the ass. But sometimes you need the door closed which you have the option to do with a slide up door
