I think one of the best things with going in knives only is that there is absolutely no gear fear/nothing for the enemy to gain for killing you.

That's definitely one of the HUGE benefits to playing without weapons. If people could just train their mind to play without 'gear fear' when using their insured weapons as well, they'd become much better players! :) . One tip to get rid of the fear, is to just remember it's a game... and a quick 5min building 21 run can always reset all the insured slots so it's not the end of the world. But yes, Great point! definitely up there.

@@4ndyb i been running knifes only since way back when on CoD and even took up sniper hunting on BF3 onwards XD. idk being the assassin type with knifes is just a entire new aspect of play. where most worry about RoF and range or how much ammo they got, i only need to worry about point A (my knife) meeting point B (their neck) makes it less stressful, and if they kill me GRATS you get a throwing knife XD

I did it in my last Ghillie Suit video. Sometimes I'll add it and sometimes not. It takes a lot of editing time to do subtitles so i left it out of the rest of the video... for now at least. I might incorporate more of it in future if it doesn't take too much of my time during editing.

Thanks Kevin! Ahh yeah, it's a nightmare when knives don't land. If you're fighting outside, it's rough. Close quarters is perfect for that though, as you'll be able to pick the knives back up from walls if they miss their target and if you're agile enough with your movement. Good luck!

Love your game play. I take alot of inspiration from how you play and adapt it to my style. I keep one weapon on me and 2nd slot empty for fast hands and throwing butter knives. I enjoy seeing some of your defeats as well. I know losing sucks but it's all in the game

That's a cool way to play, Simon! Having a vacant slot always helps for speed/movement and using knives! :) . Yeah sadly, i make mistakes... or just get hammered by people sometimes, that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. Just dust yourself off and go again. It's all about having a laugh at the end of the day :)

I could try some weapons at some point i guess. To answer your question on filters, No, i don't use Nvidia filters. I intentionally don't use Nvidia Shadowplay or Nvidia Experience so i can allocate more resources to my game, as using filters from Nvidia tend to cause minor FPS drops. Instead, I turn the sharpness up a Tiny bit on my monitor though, and with it being hardware, there is no FPS hit to performance. Other settings like brightness and contrast are all standard though. Hope that helps.

One option is to keep your range, because those guns are rubbish at range... and you're able to still land knives :) . Another option is to 'bob and weave' like your life depends on it and hope you can get behind them for the execute, or land a knife before they land a shot. The advantage you have, again, is your movement... these guys are slow with shotguns.

I only play on the EU servers because i don't have a VPN. I just queue up as normal on every raid. Would be nice to see what the other servers are like, though. I imagine it's fun in different regions.

For Black ops 6? I think it's in the advanced combat settings. Black ops 6 is terrible for it... they changed it so that there is a different button for finishing moves and hostage taking (separate from your melee button,on PC at least). Holding down the 'melee' button when you have you knife out doesn't work anymore. It's terrible. That said, i found a solid way to get executes, perhaps i could do a video on that.

Especially since the new black ops came out. Despite running into more cheaters, I'm not finding it too hard to make content still (luckily). Hehe, i don't blame you for thinking you were in shadowban lobbies due to the influx of cheaters. Hope they all get the ban hammer so we can enjoy some fair DMZ lobbies.

Yes. It was a badly calibrated gun. Most guns that people drop are gross. I'm a melee player 99% of the time, so taking people's guns doesn't interest me unless I'm in big danger.
