4T6 (pronounced “forty-six”)
"Purveyor of #progressive , infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere."
That’s how at Mount Pilf we would describe 4T6 as a DJ. Never afraid to go all out on his 4-deck equipment, his emotive musical selections blend together perfectly. Drums are looped endlessly to ensure his mixes keep on progressing at the comfortable pace that defines 4T6 like no other. Having grown up near #amsterdam , one of the worlds centers of electronic music, he’s been inspired to discover and play eclectic combinations of funky, PROGRESSIVE HOUSE and European electronica. All which became infused with his own love for playing the guitar, 4T6 ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this #music that he loves best, all on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling house beat.
After his younger years participating in the local music community, 4T6 recently made a decision to move his family to the quiet Dutch countryside where he setup in the small town of Heerlen. Focusing on new hobbies like maintaining their vegetable garden, inspiration to make music rose to new levels which not only resulted in booking inquiries from several #festival organizers, but eventually even a #podcast for the renowned Mount Pilf #youtube channel.

Fort Vurig
Nestled in the picturesque village of Vuren, in the municipality of West Betuwe, Fort Vurig stands as a significant testament to the Netherlands’ military history. Built in 1844 as part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie, this fortification was strategically located along the Waaldijk to safeguard Gorinchem and prevent enemy advances westward.
Today, Fort Vurig is more than just a relic of the past; it is a vibrant destination where visitors can enjoy a meal on the terrace overlooking the fort’s scenic landscape, or choose to spend the night in the cozy accommodations within the barracks or bunker.

One of the fort's most striking features is its bombproof tower, constructed between 1847 and 1849. Surrounded by a moat and accessible only by a drawbridge, this tower exemplifies the ingenuity of 19th-century military architecture. When Linda & Thomas, the new curators of the fort, offered 4T6 and the team at Mount Pilf Productions a chance to record a DJ set on top of the bombproof tower we didn't hesitate for a second.
