The squat law in NC is for certain amount of lift in the front versus the rear. I can’t remember what it is off the top of my head and I’m too tired to look it up 😂 “once you go diesel you never go back.” *if you have the funds. I went from F-150 to F-250 diesel and now I’m back in F-150 and couldn’t be happier. $1600+ for injectors when they went out I just couldn’t do it. Shit adds up quick just to keep it at factory power levels and reliable.

Ive got a Ram 1500, currently saving up for a Power Wagon. Im in Houston and the diesel "sub culture" is serious. I almost went with a diesel, but maintenance costs plus the new emissions gear makes it an expensive choice.

What he also failed to mention is when he said “it ain’t that bad” as far as regular routine maintenance i.e. oil changes and filters, they still cost nearly double what you probably buy for Red. Now, for someone like him running a fully established renovation company, it’s probably no problem at all. Not taking away from that, make that money young man. But just straight up comparison, it costs nearly double if not more for everything on a diesel compared to gas.

He “says” he does. Doesn’t mean he does it daily. That setup wouldn’t last long hauling heavy like some of us do. He’d have to replace suspension components and wheel bearings very often with that offset. If he’s really a business owner he wouldn’t use that truck for that. It’s an unneeded expense. I speak from experience, had the same setup. Lasted a year before I took all of it off. Too many problems just because I wanted my truck to”look” a certain way.
