One more not to do, don’t put a full collection of mini rockets on sticks in a mason jar and set them off near a group of people sitting around in chairs or picnic tables. Lost hearing in my left ear due to one exploding about an inch from my head while the person next to me got a burned leg. Then others got hurt while they were trying to leave the area as the mini rockets kept exploding around us. No drinking was involved, just poor judgement and wayward fireworks.

Then while camping our neighbors did the same thing with fireworks years later. Any holiday with fireworks, I stay home
