That's how I saw the game. she tried to do a lot of isolation 1on1, didn't run plays with her teammates. seems a bit selfish to me.

Before the season started, my pick was always Utah to win the conference. The loss of all first team Watkins hurts their record . This game proved that experience beats better talent every time.

Watkins has mountains of talent and intensity, and I respect how she takes the game seriously - not slathered in makeup looking for glamour NIL $... But she doesn't look like she is having much fun. Not just this game - win or lose, she basically looks frustrated. Any thoughts?

The coach put a lot on her shoulders after noticing she a top scorer but forgetting she’s a freshman. Juju probably thinks herself the one to always carry the team like she did at the start of the season. Forbes and Padilla are playing much better and the coach needs to tell JuJu to trust them and pass.

If she were a man would you be commenting on how she looks win or lose? Maybe she’s always had a focused demeanour it’s got nothing to do with makeup and all this stuff you’re worried about. If they’re getting the job done on the court, what they look like should be an afterthought.

@@teachmedanceful ~ Why so combative? I always observe the appearance of players - camera closeups make it impossible not to. I'm an old school athlete and am quite critical of the extravagant hair & makeup - it's an unnecessary distraction from the job at hand. As you wrote and I heartily agree - "what they look like should be an afterthought". In spite of your attempt to splash accusations of sexism on me, I critique men and women equally. Dennis Rodman offered delicious opportunities for commentary. And good gawd I don't worry my pretty little head about any of it, but thanks for your concern.
