Great story! My brother was a Green Beret. His platoon spent most of their time in Afghanistan, helping small towns in setting up police forces and the like. He started out in Desert Storm, if I remember correctly, so he was in the mideast for quite a long time. He had a couple of deployments here in Oregon, in the Coastal and Cascade ranges. He couldn't/wouldn't tell us what his platoon was assigned to do. I do know he retired(?) right after those assignments. If I was to guess, they might have been having fun tracking down growers if you get what I'm saying. But after this story, and knowing that we have a lot of deep forests in the state, maybe their assignments were closer to this story. Who knows? Not me. 😊😮 Hope you all had a great weekend + Monday. Hello Doctor! I've been looking for that Halloween special you did a while back (I think it was a Halloween special) in which those special forces guy's go to this cabin to hunt and they kill all the movie monsters like and they mention that vorhees guy and those sirens or vampires come to the cabin and an old werewolf ends up being the guy they rented the cabin from...hope I'm not mixing up stories but yeah what's the name of that 1 😂😅

Is it just me, or have the past 3-4 stories all repeats that'd already been covered on this very channel? 😞 I don't mind it when stories are re-used at all, but I think it needs to be done in moderation. Again, I don't intend to come off as ungrateful, as it's still good stories by a great narrator, but when will the promises of the multi-hour long new and original stories be started? When will some of the series already on this channel (that had also supposedly already been written and sent to the Doc to narrate) be continued and/or finished? I really enjoy your channel, Dr. Creepen, and most of all, your narrations (as well as the marvelous stories you've written yourself!), but I do find myself being slightly upset when I've gotten only a few minutes into a story that I was investing myself into and enjoying it, to then suddenly realizing that not only had I heard the story [which if it was by another narrator would be completely fine, mind you, as everyone has their own unique means of storytelling], but that I've heard it from your channel already in the past. Most often, the story that gets repeated is at least months, sometimes years, older; and I do understand if you weren't certain if you'd covered it yet to go at it, however, my main issue comes from the fact that it sounds subtly dated (maybe when you were using a slightly different mic, or other small things that I might pick up on). I don't want to think, nor do I truly believe, that you've been using older stories from the back catalogue of your channel, and deleting the older one before re-uploading it or anything like that... but I just don't know. I must just be mistaken, though... but if you do find yourself needing to take a break, then please do so! You're not going to see any of us turning our backs on you or disengaging with your channel(s), even if you don't announce it to us. We'll figure it out, lol. So anyways, just my two cents, and to be taken with a healthy grain of salt, but seriously, you deserve and are worth the wait, even if you need to take an entire month [or more] away from YT (as a creator). Please remember that we all want to also see you as happy as possible too, of course, and to be able to de-stress and become well rested; both physically and mentally. I think the author did okay there could have been more research into the military subject matter I mean it's kind of hard to believe a unit like that would be comprised of several sergeants that seems highly unrealistic and the fact they went from 223 ammo to magically 556 ammo what is that also there was way too much cussing a handful of it here and there is okay cool especially if it adds to the story but those cuss words sound like filler i mean the main character spoke highly of the the captain but the captain just sounded like an jack off the whole time also I don't think the author knows how night vision goggles work or grenades for that matter
