Wait... did you cross the bridge on your own? No issues with minimum requirement of 5 people in an organized tour package?

This bridge has always been fine. if 4 or more then you need a tour. Alone no problem. The Thai side use to con you with 500 $ escort vehicle.. Not sure if it is related. but since the no tips policy at immigration. That has stopped. This is the easiest crossing in to Laos.

@@moto-maniaASIA Wow awesome. I might do this over the next weeks. I read something on GT-Rider on this as well but I wasn't sure and was afraid that it would be one of these one-off things. I heard everyone got turned away from all the other border crossings unless you 'know' people.
