Wouldnae worry too much about your confidence the now, first time out in a while and you pick a monster trail. Might be easy for some but I wouldn't tackle any of them at the stage I'm at so don't worry about it. Inners will probably suit you much better and have you feeling better in no time. As for the Osmo, it might just be YT compression but I don't think the quality is as good as the Hero 7. The stabilisation seem to work fine but I found it looked a bit floaty at times as in it moved around the centre point of the video and made me feel a wee bit motion sick. I've no long got a 7 Black with hypersmooth and have to say I'm blown away by it and that's having mounted on my handlebars. I will chestmount it soon enough for better view of the front of the bike for perspective but for the noo it's fine. Maybe demo a 7 if you can and see what you think?
