1:06 These are guns for the SHOT Show, and FMP allowed you to dry fire the lower without the upper. In reality, never ever do that. The hammer would hit bolt release of the lower, deforming it. It was not designed to be slammed by the hammer. 5:38 Heavy spring is often used in competitions for reduced muzzle flip.

No, it's for reduced muzzle flip. But if the spring gets heavier, you would get what's called a "dipping", which isn't good, either. It is when the gun is returning back to its original position after the recoil, but it is going a little too far, making the muzzle "dipped" downward. It's not great for quick follow up shots.

I like the VHS-D2 CT-1 (with slanted scope carryhandle) look. It has that "Shadow Moses" feel to it, of course it's the famas 556 in the MGS. Still wanting a Seburo MN23 gbbr, and other scifi, manga/anime inspired weapons.
