Great Wall and LDV are the same, like Hyundai and Kia, junk. LDV just denied warranty to an owner with $48,000 of rust damage on a $35,000 ute because he parked near the coast when at work . . . no review needed. Look up Timothy Rigby vs LDV Automotive Pty Ltd it was a Qld Civil case, LDV lost. Nither would be worth testing. Roothy has done a Mahindra test and review and was impressed. Tata has moved more towards trucks in Oz and their utes are hard to find so probably not much of a chance of getting one to test so not really relevant. Something else is the Foton, they actually hand a few cars over for testing and have reliable brand extras available including lifts etc.
