On the weekend of Sept. 17th-18th, 2022, a group event was organized by our resident “Softroader Run” organizer, Dawn Tyacke. We had a team of 4WDABC reps on board to assist and several members signed up for the limited spaces available.
Together, the group went on a two day, 700+ kilometre trip through southwestern BC, travelling the Hurley Pass, visiting Bralorne,
Gold Bridge, camping and enjoying each other's company at Gun Creek on Carpenter Lake, seeing the Terzaghi Dam and finishing in Lillooet at The Old Bridge. Then some went home via the Fraser Canyon while a few hiked to the Seton Lookout and then took the Duffy Lake Rd. home.
What a spectacular part of the province and a
very memorable weekend.
