48:05 Quick question. Why did you not explain how that kick-arse shed got built? It was either constructed before the track got abandoned, or the boys from somewhere boated/barged the steel and iron in. I'd love to know.

I for one really love these old episodes. They are so much better than the new ones in my opinion. Keep them coning back so a new generation can enjoy them.

20:00 There'd be people at Coen or Lockhardt who would know the history of that bull catcher. I'm enjoying seeing you travel to areas that I know. There's a lot of unknown to most tracks up that way. I was told of a track that runs from Stewart River, south into Lakefield, and through to Hopevale/Elim Beach.

Originally the guys were part of the 4wd Action team and this resulted in monthly dvd releases with the magazine purchase. At the time, “Kings” was the major sponsor and essentially owned the rights to the movies and trips produced as they funded them. So given the dvds and magazine is no longer a thing, atleast not produced - this channel is uploaded the old content (check out some of the Roothy content, before Shaun was even around). It provides a great insight into what these guys were about, long before being heavily sponsored and just essentially; go out, break em, fix em, repeat.

22:40 In 1982 I lived in a camp between Black mountain (Kalkajaka) and Trevathan Falls (which I'm sure you blokes have been to before). The camp was originally a tin miner's concrete slab for a caravan and annex (50s and 60s). We set up a big camp there and it was beside a branch of Trevathan Creek. There was a natural waterhole that had been expanded and rock-dammed by the tin miners, making a deep, wide pool for bathing and swimming. We had a population of Sootys in that pond that we'd feed. There was always water flow through the rock dam, so the water was always mountain fresh and oxygenated from the drop down Trevathan creek from the falls. It was an awesome spot to live for a while.
