they either need to fix animations or allow players to play without them at all if they so choose, because its ridiculous that this shit is happening 10 years into this fucking game

It was made in Unity. This isn't a diss at Unity, it is limited on a techincal level on how far things can go, it's not a Blizzard engine that they change on a fundamental level and neither is it build from the ground up to handle such things. The upside is that the game can only get so big, in theory. Regular HS can run on mobile excellently but Battlegrounds is effectively the Nozdormu-eat your opponents turn-effect made intentionally into a feature. For example, minions dancing is caused by desync. The game server updates slower than the player client, so you get minions dancing when you sell 3 units in a row and the server thinks that your Golden Brann was moved, switching from position 4-5-4 again and again. And that's because there player can perform so many actions just fine on the client side because the engine can handle, it's the netcode that can't handle it.

He has Rendle which steals the highest tier minion from the shop as soon as combat starts. The Elise was in his last shop before combat

So, what did we learn from this video? Bagurgle is still a 5 Drop. Bream & Lookout still on 4. But yeah, Conch is the problem

In general, Murlocs can do too much, They have poison units that upon death spread poison to other Murlocs, which alone can screw up anyone that does not have a divine shield or have minions that can ignore/reflect dmg/summon stuff. They have a scaling unit, that scales really well and even more, once you get brann, that has no real downside to keeping it in your hand, as you have 2 cards that could summon it from hand, while also having another card that can get the stats of said scaling minion, worse is for it to scale you do not even need to go out of your way to make it scale, just play how murclos are supposed to be played. Then the fact is, even without said units, you can screw up the biggest boards when they do not go for death rattles, by having a bunch of poison minions in your hand with base gills and combining it with a blaster to counter any divine shield or the one reflect minion. A Demon player can go as high as they want in numbers while needing to do a lot to even reach said stats and get counted by like a base gill some poison minions, and a blaster... Not to mention Murlocs have the best card generation out there, which enables their playstyle. Discover is so strong of an effect, while murlocs can pick and choose from 3, Elementals have to hope they get a useful one. I wish they would make Bream not scale by how many Murlocs you play, but how many Murclos die, as Denathrius getting better with each Murloc killed. Or at least remove the ridiculous scaling of it, and make it +1+1 for each Murloc played, +2+2 when it's golden, as once you hit bran and Murk-eye with a relatively high chance you will hit either one, you will have Murlocs and gold for days. While also limiting the Choral to 3 random minion stats in your hand or something, so its a risk to go for the endless value generation, making you maybe lose out on stats on it, if you go for it. Anyway, Murlocs are to save currently, thanks to the poison, easily escalating scaling, and not to mention certain quests currently make Murlocs braindead to play.

How it is possible that this is the state of the game? Simple, it's the state of the game since launch. Unless there's a HS 2 made for BG complex interactions, things will stay the same.

Just lost a game to murlocs, had quite a large board of pirates but nothing in the game can deal with 2x 2000 of stats plus bunch of poison, murlocs need to be nerfed asap.

The good old Murloc days when you used base gill to summon Leroy from your hand and not playing Murloc meant you would lose? Honestly, Murlocs are either really broken or simply not really playable, there is no in-between with them. But that's the same with all Types, there will always be some types that are insanely busted, while others suffer in the corner.

yo i heard if the game is lagging, and you spam click out of impatience, it improves the issue. sending a bunch of more actions at a game that is bogging down.... surely this will make it better. lmfao smh

Ah yes because these clicks definitely have a significant, hell even a measureable influence on the games performance. I mean we all know how the game just collapses when you use a autoclicker. Definitely not that even a single card animation causes the game to have to calculate more then a thousand clicks. Smh

i think players should recognize when the game is lagging, then only go after primo battlecries or ones with minor animations. time is an opponent too!
