Love Hook/Emma's relationship. Hook is so ashamed of his past. I'm hoping that one day he learns how to forgive himself.

I really loved the CS interactions in this episode! I love the fact that these two beautiful idiots apparently spend ALL their free time together. I love the fact that they have a real, healthy relationship, where they deal with their issues. I love that Killian knows Emma well enough to know what side dish she likes. My thoughts on this particular clip: Emma has no qualms whatsoever showing her affection for her boyfriend in public--even in front of her father. That little cheek kiss was adorable. The first sheriff’s station scene transitioned from fluff to serious substance. It starts out fluffy of course. Killian “best, most swoon-worthy boyfriend ever” Jones brings Emma the grilled cheese sandwich she’s been “dying for”, and even manages to procure for her her desired side dish. The way Emma leans into him and looks adorably up at him like a love-sick puppy is truly beautiful to see. And then, with the single, seemingly innocent question of how exactly Killian knows Ursula, everything changes. As soon as Emma asks the question, Killian’s entire demeanor changes. He becomes nervous, and immediately distances himself from Emma-both emotionally by trying to shrug off the question, and physically by stepping back and putting the desk between them. Killian proves to be terrible at prevaricating with Emma. She doesn’t need her “super power” to see he’s being less than honest with her. Anyone with half a brain could see that. Everything in his demeanor shouts “guilty.” Emma does call him on his evasion, but he doubles down on his refusal to tell her anything. This is very reminiscent of instances in the past where Killian’s been afraid (or unable) to tell Emma something-the Zelena kiss curse, the situation with Ariel, Eric and Blackbeard, Rumple’s blackmail and then full on control. More than anything, it reminds me of the scene in the winter finale when Rumple is speaking to Emma through Killian and she asks him if he’s okay because he’s acting strange. He shrugs it off, but Emma knows he’s not being exactly truthful (although no reasonable person could fault him there; he had no choice in the matter), yet she drops the matter and lets him leave. Emma lets the Ursula matter drop and closes in on herself. Even her body language shows this closing in. She leans back away from him and crosses her arms. She still has vestiges of her walls up. She’s not willing to truly broach the topic in the way it needs to be broached-something that would require her to fully open her heart and be completely vulnerable with him. This scene ends on a (slight) note of tension, and if we, the audience didn’t know there were still several acts left to this episode, acts in which this situation would inevitably be addressed again, it would be easy to get really frustrated-and to see this scene as just another recycling of the tried and true “Killian feels guilty about something he’s done in his past and is afraid to tell Emma” trope we’ve seen play out over and over and over again. Luckily that wasn't the last act!

Anyone notice in the previous scene Emma was supposed to have lunch with David but she had to skip it because of work? She specifically mentioned she wanted a grilled cheese but she didn't get it. And then in this scene, not only did he get her the sandwich but also got her favorite side as well.

I'm really glad they 'tested' their relationship like this. I mean, every relationship isn't perfect and there will be some arguments along the way. The fact the CS got through this is TRUE LOVE! I loved this episode!

even though Hook didn't exactly told Emma what happened in the past between him and Ursula,at least he was much more honest with her than her own parents and told there is a secret, instead of trying to hurt Ursula so his secret could stay unknown😶😶😶

My guess is, since the first curse came in the 80's they had 80's technology, and since they had no connection to the outside world, they never knew about the advancements, so they stayed with the 80's technology.
