4x4 Caged Skeleton Turret Tower Design

This was a pretty fun build to do. I am definitely enjoying the skeleton style towers over vault dropped pillars. I do apologise for not having a structure list. With a build this big it would be to time consuming to do it.

Hey, as a ark pvp player, yes this tower is strong but improvements can be made, 1st add a giant almost fly trap/net ontop of the tops roof (go up abt 10-15 double door frames in each corner and do the same thing as the roof so its harder for people to owl dive, pt dive, or drop stegos onto the roof

Here is a 2x2 design that is taller. Most of the designs I use are made to be quick to build and flexible enough that adjustments can be made depending on the location and circumstances. I like to put my hatchframes every other wall because if you have them every wall they get bunched up, creating line of sight issues for the turrets. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pHzKiXl9f7CDn7M

On most of the clusters I have played on the fuel consumption is really low so 300 element runs usually the entire wipe. When I need to refill I either demo the vaults and foundations or use an exomek to pick the vaults and foundations up.

right off the bat when i tried building this i cant place the vaults in/around the tek gen like u did… they have to be not touching the gen for it to let me place. any ideas?

You can place a wall and ceilings above the generator. Place the vaults on the ceilings and then pick up or demo the wall. It's the OG way to vault drop if structure collision is on.

The ammo crates are not alll that. They don’t fill all the turrets up. That’s why I don’t use them anymore.

I like to use them to at least get bullets into the turrets. If the bullet stack is official the ammo crates should fill the turrets in range to full.

What do ammo crates do

They fill turrets within a certain radius around them with bullets and shards to official capacity. They come in handy so you don't have to fill the turrets individually. They only fill a little bit at a time and there is a timer in between. There is also a cool down after a turret has fired before it will pull from the ammo crate. Makes the initial fill of the turrets a lot easier.

Base defense... The skeleton design is so that even if they get inside the tower they will get shot by turrets. Less blind spots for someone on foot to hide from turrets.

Most of my towers I don't cage because it takes too much time. In the time I build this, I could have 4 or 5 towers. I just know some people really love their cages lol

I am on pc and went into my .ini files to adjust the turret limit. If you are on console you will have to setup a server on nitrado to adjust the .ini file for more customization than what the sliders allow
