My friend, that is a BEAUTIFUL and RARE 1st gen Cummins you have there! I have two 1st gens but they're not anywhere NEAR as in good shape as yours. They both lived on my farm and did hard work and have been dead reliable the whole time!

Hey Brodie. Thanks for the view. I appreciate your comments. I lucked out with this truck and the condition it was in. It was an Arizona truck all it’s life so that helped tremendously. I too have more 1st gens which I’ll end up putting on the channel at some point. One of them has been in the family since new. In the end there’s no other truck like these and they are my all time favorite. Cheers 🍻

​@@therestomaestro3556 You're welcome man! Yeah your truck in this video is a super rare truck being a 1 ton with a single tires. That makes me laugh because we converted out 3/4 ton 1st gen to a 1 ton with the suspension and Dana 80 axle in the rear off of an old Ford. She's hauled nearly 500k miles of horses, hay, and other stuff on our flatbed trailer over the years. Value of these 1st gens is skyrocketing. ''This motor will always get the job done and never ever quit.'' AMEN to that truth! As soon as you hit the key...she's ready to work! People are going back to to older vehicles. They're finding out that the vehicles made today are built to last only as long as the warranty lasts and not to be serviced by the average joe. Glad to see you restoring these wonderful trucks....I can't wait to see your other 1st gens! Take care and stay safe!

Brodie you have a good point with the warranty on these new vehicles. Seems like nowadays you can’t trust a car that’s got a computer telling it what to do. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Your also right about the value of the first gens. I’m happy I was able to get my hands on this one and the other 2 because no way I can afford them later at the rate that their increasing. Have a great one. Stay safe!

lucky guy. i have a 91 w250 indentical to yours, but with a little more rust... not bad. its not rotted out anywhere except for a area on the roof thats trying to get away from me.. but ill get it restored as well... only paid 3000.00 for the truck.

What's the vin number of that truck it will tell you what it was originally from the factory. Because I don't think they made single wheel one tons but I could be wrong I have been before.

Hey Abishai, Thanks for the subscribe. Greatly appreciated. The steps on my truck are AMP RESEARCH. As of when these were installed there were no First Gen options so we had to go with a 2nd or 3rd gen step, I don't recall but will dig around and let you know. We had to make some custom mounting brackets in order for them to fit. When do you plan on putting steps in? I'll be more than happy to make a video that explains the custom mount, how they mount and wiring process. Let me know!

Hey bud. Don’t quite me but I believe that they are called Mag Wheels. More than likely made by Centerline or Eagle Alloy. They came with the truck and I can only assume that there are true to the era. So very likely it’s a 90’s wheel. These are 8 lug on 6.50. Need to check rim size. Hope this helps. 👍🏻

Thanks for tuning in! I know what you mean man. I have a 92’ extended cab automatic and I had an itch for a single cab. I figured the fact that it’s manual and a single wheel 350 makes up for the intercooler. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I was lucky to snatch it before the prices on these first gens shot through the roof.

Hey Christopher. Thanks for tuning in. I hear you man. When I acquired the truck I did some research and it turned out that they were rare. It makes more sense for them to be dual. The important factor for me was getting a 4x4. However a 4x4 dually would’ve been a dream come true.

@@therestomaestro3556 Pretty easy to turn a truck into a dually, a lot easier than turning a 2wd to a 4wd. Depends if you want to keep everything original though
