I was so nervous watching the recovery attempt with the recovery strap hooked onto the Truck House tow ball. That’s one of those things they tell you never, ever to do because they can shear off under load and the tow ball can be shot back like a mini cannon ball. Please use a recovery point on the bumper or use a receiver mounted recovery point. Definitely don’t want to see Truck House Life become Truck House Death. Yikes!

So did the white truck get unstuck from the one chain like your truck did? or did he need the other chain layed out on the other side as well? The footage switched to a different scene right before we got see him set free from the rut with the chains? It’s nice to see you came equipped with the right necessities for job. I like that idea of using chains or off-road mat traction pads to get unstuck opposed to tugging with another vehicle, as that is much more harder on the transmission, frame and puts a lot of stress on the truck that’s doing the pulling in general.

Dude you're killing me, 20 something thousand dollars sled and you're running it up that flimsy ready to fail ramp. Buy a tilt trailer will you. I mean even getting it off you've had sleds fall off to the side. Come on! And I don't care where you're living or riding that's a snowmobile. LOL
@TruckHouseLife2 жыл бұрын
You mean the snowmachine hahaha! Yeah I know man, new ramps aren't cheap to custom make and instead I'm going to sell the homemade sled deck and replace it with one with a telescoping ramp, edges to keep the skis from falling off, and superclamps. Adding that stuff to this sled deck is expensive and doesn't make sense, so just gonna swap it all.
