It may be that I'm a bit too picky, but I didn't care for your soldering job at all to connect the wires at 10:00, and the second one later on. Why didn't you use an environmental wire splice? You crimp the wires in that, and put a bit of heat shrink over the end with two wires, and then use a heat gun to shrink everything to the wires to make it weather proof. Also, when cutting down the wire harness protection sleeve, make sure to tell your viewers to do so slowly, with the cutting edge facing up and away from the wires. I can see some guy trying to follow your instructions, and cutting into several wires. Or, use some flush diagonal wire cutters, again being careful not to cut or nick the wires. After that, you wrap the wire harness protection sleeve with some F4 tape to cover where you cut it, and then use some waxed tie string or a tiny zip tie at the end of the last wrap to make sure it stays on. Not trying to be rude, but I would expect to see the kind of soldering work with electrical tape you did from some guy at home who doesn't know any better, and not from a professional installer. Electrical tape should only be used for emergency, or temporary repairs. Other than that, great video.

Hi, I've got the Wildtrak X - Im not keen on the silver sump bash guard. Have you fitted something different on yours as looks all black or is it just the lower bars covering it? If you could post a link thanks looks great. PS Also have the Cyber Orange

We fully dechrome Ranger's as part of our Predator body kits, all silver/chrome bits were wrapped in black.

Hi, unfortunately it doesn't fit Limited. It fits next-gen Ranger Wildtrak, Wildtrak X and Platinum.

How does the grill switch on

Once you've fitted the grille it switches on automatically when the car is unlocked (it does a sweeping animation) and it stays on just like in the video.
