How does it lock if there’s a button to open it on the truck bed? Does it integrate with the ford ranger key or do you need a separate key fob?

You can lock and unlock it with a separate key fob.

There's a separate fob for the roller shutter or the touch pad at the end of the roller shutter which works once it's unlocked
